About the role:

The City of Busselton is seeking a Grants & Sponsorships Administration Officer to coordinate the delivery of grant and sponsorship programs that support community groups, local businesses, events and initiatives across our region.

This is more than an administration role. You'll be the person behind the processes, systems and coordination that ensures funding programs are delivered fairly, transparently and professionally from application through to acquittal, supporting staff, assessment panels and decision-makers throughout the process.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinating and administering a range of grant and sponsorship programs
  • Administering application, assessment, reporting and acquittal processes
  • Supporting assessment panels and preparing documentation for decision-makers
  • Tracking budgets, funding commitments and program outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate data, records and reporting
  • Improving systems, templates and processes
  • Providing exceptional support to applicants and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting City staff who administer or contribute to grant and funding programs

What you’ll bring to the role:

You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can juggle competing priorities and build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in grants, program or project administration
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills
  • Strong written communication and reporting abilities
  • Experience using grant management, database or other web-based administration systems and Microsoft Office. A commitment to customer service, governance and continuous improvement

Pre-employment Requirements:

  • Current C-Class Driver’s Licence
  • National Police Clearance
  • Right to work in Australia
